Gabriele Pezzini was born on December 4, 1963 at Charleroi, Belgium.
His artistic education, at the Istituto d'Arte and then at ISIA of Florence(Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche), urged him incessantly toward experimentation. Interested in the problems involved in the industrialization of designs, in 1991 he became a member of the international team of designers of the French company Allibert, and then the company's design manager until 1997. In 1999 he established his own studio in Milan, resumed working on research projects and collaborated with new companies in a wide range of fields.His projects, which are developed within the sphere of the relationships between the object and its user, have led him to formulate a language that redefines our perception of products.
He has also been Visiting Professor at the Ecole de Beaux Arts in Saint Etienne, France, the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, USA, and the Milan Politecnico.
