Matti Klenell was born in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1972.
After graduating from Konstfack National College of Design in Stockholm in 1999 he worked at Nyrens Arkitektkontor before setting up his own studio in 2000.
The Matti Klenell studio is based in Stockholm and is working with clients such as ?rsj? Belysning, Milj?expo, Offecct, Moooi, Pyra, Stockholms Lokaltrafik and Svenskt Tenn. Since 2000 he is also head teacher at Beckmans College of Design.
In 2003 Matti Klenell was awarded the Ljunggren Design Award.
After a successful collaboration with Tyson series for BALS TOKYO, he creates new line of products.
